Areas of Expertise

Sports massage

Sports massage begins with a detailed assessment of posture, range of
movement, and muscle function to identify the root cause of discomfort.
Treatment is strategically planned and often begins away from the site of pain to address the underlying issue. Techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle energy technique, and soft tissue release are combined with traditional massage strokes for maximum effectiveness.

Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage works deep into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic tension. Firm, sustained pressure targets the nerves and fibres that hold persistent tightness, helping retrain them to relax. Ideal for stubborn knots, restricted mobility, and long‑standing muscular discomfort, this treatment restores ease of movement and a sense of relief.

Complementary massage

Gentle yet highly beneficial, complementary massage offers a wealth of wellness benefits. It improves circulation, supports immune function, enhances posture and flexibility, relieves stress, and can help lower blood pressure. A full‑body session includes the back, arms, legs, feet, abdomen, face, and neck, creating a deeply nurturing experience. Regular treatments help maintain balance, vitality, and overall well‑being.

Indian head massage

Indian head massage works on both physical and emotional levels. Blending traditional Indian head massage with Shiatsu and Swedish techniques, it focuses on the shoulders, arms, neck, face, and head. This deeply calming therapy melts away stress, eases muscle tension, and promotes profound relaxation throughout the whole body.

My Approach

My journey as a massage therapist began when I achieved my ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage. As I started working with clients, I soon realised that to truly address the wide range of issues people experience, I needed to deepen my skills and broaden my knowledge.

I went on to train in Deep Tissue Massage and Indian Head Massage, and later achieved my ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage. Over time, I built a diverse toolkit of techniques — but the more I learned, the more I recognised something essential: relaxation of the mind is one of the most powerful effects massage can offer.

I believe the body and mind are inseparable. This became even clearer when I discovered Myofascial Release (MFR) — a gentle yet powerful technique that offers hope for those living with chronic pain. I’ve seen its impact first‑hand: my own husband now manages his long‑standing neck pain far more effectively with self‑treatment, after receiving MFR from me.

Every client is unique, so I adapt my treatments, in both style and duration, to suit individual needs. My aim is to create truly holistic and remedial sessions that bring lasting comfort, improved mobility, and a renewed sense of well‑being for both body and mind.
